MG4 Frunk now available

Hello everyone,
For those that would like to buy a frunk, from frunk.at, and are maybe still hesitating :), please have hereunder a 10% reduction code that might help you to decide: FRANCE10
It has been negotiated through the french forum, and is valid for all the items sold at their shop until: 25/03/2024
Enjoy :)

Has no one tried to build their own frunk? I've seen other MG owners do it with IKEA boxes and etc.
It seems to be enough space under the big plastic cover..

Got one of these fitted, useful for things that you need in the car "in case" but not used regularly. I have type 2 lead (don't use it as Ohme wallbox is tethered), granny lead, screen wash, V2L adaptor and small toolkit in it. All stuff that was previously in the boot.

I would be curious to know if someone with an xpower and mounted hydraulic bonnet struts has already tested to install this frunk to confirm if it really fits.
Anyone here?

Looks good but personally can't justify it.

My cables fit under the boot floor, I understand I may need to empty the boot if I forget to get them out when packing it, boots not that big anyway :) and only at a untethered public charger. I have a tethered OHME Home Pro at home, inside my garage.

Very nice, especially when it is brand new like that :)
After a while, dust gets in there, and some cleaning is "required" ?

What can you actually get in that? As I mentioned earlier in the thread I keep my type 2 cable under the bonnet, just lying on the plastic tray. If I could get something that would still take that cable (in its bag) while creating space for other stuff, I might consider it. But I'd absolutely never consider any frunk that meant I had to find somewhere else for the type 2.

Look at the picture: the type 2 is securely stored vertically and that’s better imho than if it was lying on the floor of the boot or under the bonnet.
I could have left the cable in its bag but to me that made no sense as it’s easier to store it this way.
The space created is big enough for the granny charger in its box, an emergency triangle, an umbrella, a few tools, a top up for the windscreen washer fluid and probably a few other bits.
All stored nearly and won’t move around.

To me it’s about convenience and neatness. This is neat and convenient. So I bought it and I’m happy with it.

That sounds really good! Earlier efforts were very shallow, this seems to be a different approach. Seriously interested, especially if I can get the granny cable in its box in.

Found this picture on their website. Didn’t realise I could also put the tyre inflation kit and free up space under the boot floor. Will have to give it a go
