MG4 Frunk now available

ReintjeWA, Thanks for the info.
I'm still wondering about a Frunk. I'll wait a while to see what EVaccesoriesireland have done to improve things for the gas struts.
Perhaps I'll contact them direct and see what's what.
Hey mate, just a little update after some more driving, the frunk had a little bit of dust in it, but nothing major. About as dusty as the dashboard gets I would say.

I roll my charging cable up carefully and slot it under the front passenger seat. Absolutely no problem.
I'm not sure you got my point ... my Type 2 cable lives under the bonnet (hood), lying on top of the plastic cover. So no need for a) a frunk, or b) putting it under a seat where it may or may not interfere with wiring/connectors. :)

I can concur. I also drove through a deep flood (collecting a huge amount of leaves, debris and water in the process 😬) but the frunk was bone dry.

Nice idea. I like the MG4 Electric moulded in to the tray, the way the tray covers the entire under bonnet space, and that it is held in place using the existing split grommets.

But I've installed gas strut / lift springs on my bonnet, and their body fixing bolts use the holes marked G and I positions in the video. So I'm not certain that this frunk design is compatible with my aftermarket gas strut / lift spring installation.
