Many thanks, worked a treat.Mouseover their name, wait for the pop-out and then click on Start Conversation.![]()
I would be interested. I like to read up in the comfort of my home before i get in the car rather than sit at the wheel and read.As it's likely I will probably have a few more weeks of waiting before my car miraculously appears, I've decided that I'd like to get some light bedtime reading done. As the MG4 manual is available only online, and they advise no screen watching before bed, I've decided to get the manual printed.
I know someone did this for the ZS, but I've not seen anyone do it for the MG4 yet.
It'll be A4 landscape, double sided in black and white (apart from an appropriate colour cover page) on 100gm paper, comb bound with a clear front cover and card rear cover.
The reason I mention this is because if I order in quantity, the price comes down, so I'm taking this opportunity to ask the community if anyone else would like a copy.
The price for one copy is £23.02 plus p&p, but could be less if enough people express an interest. For instance, if I order 10 copies the price drops to just £12.90 + p&p per copy.
So, is there anyone interested in a MG4 hard copy owner's manual?
EDIT: On the pages where the colour of icons are illustrated, I have edited the pdf file to annotate each icon with it's respective colour.
@MandyH No problems at all, I'll add you inI would be interested. I like to read up in the comfort of my home before i get in the car rather than sit at the wheel and read.
Will do. How do I DM you?@MandyH No problems at all, I'll add you in
The manual works out at £8.95 plus p & p, although I'll have to wait until I receive the manuals later this week to weigh them and work out the p & p, but it's probably going to be around £2.50.
Can you DM me your name and postal address, along with an email address? As soon as the manuals arrive, I'll be in touch to arrange despatch, payment etc.
If you don't want the hassle of the Royal Mail strikes DPD are really good I've found and they aren't much different in cost. Also they'll come collect the packages. Which might be helpful seeing as you'll have so many.Just to keep everyone who's ordered manuals so far informed, the first batch of 20 manuals is due to arrive on my doorstep in the next couple of days, so as soon as they do I'll be contacting each of you who've given me your contact details individually and sending your manual(s) off to you.
I hadn't realised just how popular this was going to be, so I have also had to place another order for a further 10 manuals today!
Please be aware that the Post Office is on strike on the 9th, 11th, 14th, 15th, 23rd and 24th December. I'll try to avoid those dates!!
Apologies if this is old news to some of you, but Virgin Media's email server seems to have died this morning so I have no guarantee my messages have reached you!
Still taking orders
Bernie
Yes, I have got them in mind as well, if only to avoid the postal strikes ?If you don't want the hassle of the Royal Mail strikes DPD are really good I've found and they aren't much different in cost. Also they'll come collect the packages. Which might be helpful seeing as you'll have so many.
Just download the DPD app and it'll give you quotes etc for single or multiple packages.
Tbh I'd be happy to pay that just to avoid it vanishing into the Royal Mail chaosYes, I have got them in mind as well, if only to avoid the postal strikes ?
The only thing is, their prices are higher than the Post Office by around £1.50 per pkt
That might have to be the course of action I have to takeTbh I'd be happy to pay that just to avoid it vanishing into the Royal Mail chaos
