MG4 Odometer Issue

Hi everyone,

I've had my MG4 for a couple of weeks on a salary sacrifice scheme through work. Have to say I'm loving the car but was concerned at the miles apparently racked up on the time I've had it. My daily commute is just under 19 miles each way. This morning I drove on a full charge and noticed that my commute was coming in at 28 miles. It looks like the car is counting kilometres and logging them as miles on the odo. Very bizarre.

Of course I accept I could be doing something totally wrong, but I don't think so. Has anyone seen this before?

What do the ‘from start’ ‘from last charge’ and ‘accumulated total’ say?

So let me get this straight, If I were to believe what I see on that screen, you drove 28 miles since you last charged the car. Average 3miles per kWh means you used 9kwh and if I look at the remaining % bar I deduce you have the extended range (~71 usable kWh total)
But you are saying those are not miles those are km?
So somehow the ODO is correct, but the consumption and distance since last charge is wrong. Unless maybe the ‘since last charge’ wasn’t reset automatically. It can happen sometimes.
My suggestion would be to reset everything manually first then see if that helps.

Yes that's correct. My commuting distance is just shy of 19 miles, which is about 28k. It's registered 28 miles.
So, a factory settings reset?

Yeah, and maybe toggle the display between miles km and miles again. Just to see if it’s just a glitch rather than something more serious.

What about accumulated distance? What does that show?

Still no change. I guess its going to need a software fix. Oh well. Thanks for trying!

What do the other trip computers show:
From Start
Total (Since last 999 miles)

Your pic is showing since last charge trip which might suggest it has not registered the last charge and reset this figure.

From your picture the odometer is showing 671 miles, is this incrementing as you would expect?
