Grey Trophy seen charging on the West Linton village charger at 12 noon today. I was passing on my bicycle on the way to the post office. I was going to have a quick "nice car!" word with the driver, but when I got closer I saw she was talking on her phone, so I left her unmolested. When I cycled back home a little later the Trophy had gone and the charger had been comandeered by a black cab.

Next time I need molesting I know where to come.
?

Have seen several other MG4s over the last few days (mostly black and red) - didn't get any waves returned.

Today we parked two down from a fellow goose SE in Culham Lock car park.

Theirs had the black badge cover though, and an EV number plate.

They returned just before us with their paddle boards (one of them to our car not their own!)

Proceeded to have a nice chat with Evie and her Mum (whose name I didn't catch).

Mum said she waves at other MG4 drivers and I said I did too but had never had it reciprocated.

Don't think I've had such a strong "we're in the same car club" reaction as when I had an Alfasud from 85-86.

Every time I passed an Alfa (even if not a 'sud) there was flashing, honking and waving galore!

Yes, the only other time I've waved at others was when someone lent me their mini (original) in the early 2000s.

I have seen a couple lately in the Mold area, a smurf SE and Tango Trophy, I did wave both times. Well sort of, my right hand moved off the steering wheel about a couple of inch's ?

So I apologise if it was anyone on here.

As above, used to get a lot of waves when I got my first Cooper S back in 2005.

Not me, I have a smurf Trophy.
But I do tend to go through Mold on a Friday afternoon this time of year, when the A55 gets gridlocked with tourists.

The Tango Trophy might have been me. I generally get to Mold once or twice a week — was at Tesco and Lidl this morning.

Sounds like it was you, as I was picking my wife up from Tesco, one day last week.

Woohoo!

Is this the first confirmed sighting of someone on this forum by someone else on this forum?

No, there have been one or two. One of the first Caliban twins I saw turned out to belong to @alix. Same dealer, bought two weeks apart.

And hello to this very smart ER this evening.

Cherwell Valley service station. Owner was a lovely guy, loves his car, says he gets 300 miles to a charge.

Needs fangs.

Staffs plate.
I've seen quite a few of those lately.

I've seen a red Trophy like ours just round the corner to our place. They are visitors though; they don't live there. Theirs is a 23 Manchester/ Merseyside plate like ours, but not from the same dealer.

hate to tell you byt thats not an ER its an LR, the ER's have a black roof like the first trophies did, also range on the ER is 323miles, looks like he is just a very careful driver in the LR to get the mileage higher, my SE LR shows 300 miles to a full charge when driving carefully

You may be correct, but given that @Rolfe actually spoke with the driver we have to assume that the driver knows what they're driving. (Of course they themself may be mistaken/confused). :)

He told me it was the ER, top of the range he said, 300 miles between charges. They may have changed the specs.
the ERs have never come without a black roof, its one of the differences to tell between an LR and ER

I am an MG salesman so 100% know that it is definitely not an ER ?

Well well. He really must have been talking up the range!

Actually, he said the model he has is only available in orange, but I don't think any of the models is only available in orange. Doesn't seem very knowledgeable.
