MG4 still seen as a best EV in 2024

Just seen these 2 YouTube reviews of 2024 with the MG4 still in the mix.

This is because there is no real Chinese competition in the uk.

Here in israel there is a lot. Zeekr, byd, chery, omoda, geely, xpeng, dongfeng, maxus (saic)

MG still need to work on their technology, and basic equipment.

The ES5 looks good at other Chinese car level, but still no OTA mention, small batteries, and only the SR SE MG4 motor.

BTW, none of the above have in my opinion the MG4 drive-fun factor. (A lot because of suspension or FWD).

That is probably because the MG4 was developed with the European market set as the primary target. The model was part of a collaboration between SAIC Motor Design Center in Shanghai, the Advanced Design Studio in London and the Royal College of Art whereas many of the others are made for the Chinese market and then sold worldwide.
