MG4 SE SR
Hi all, my first post, I have the SE SR for the last month, loving the car and I'm ready for some modifications. One of the most important ones for me is the tow bar as I need to be able to carry my bicycles and also do really light work short trip hauling of some stuff now and then.

I have bought this tow bar, currently waiting for shipping, the team from the shop was very communicative and they send me all the paperwork for it, it should not be an issue to fit it by the laws in my country at least (Croatia). So now I am wondering, I want to fit it myself, I have already done it for my previous cars but on this MG4 I can not find anywhere any information on what is the correct way to remove the rear bumper.

Could somebody help me out with that? I can just try and wing it but I don't want to break any potentially fragile plastic clips etc...

Thanks

This is one I'm looking at, it's from a different manufacturer but the instructions do show the location of the fasteners for the bumper and other parts that need to be removed in order to fit it.

Uploaded a file but forgot to reply to your post, see above. (I'm still getting used to this forum stuff)

They do very comprehensive instructions for the electrics as well.
There are two types depending if your car is phase 1 (up to 06/23) or phase 2 (07/23 onward)
I think it ties in with whether you have a rear wiper or not??

In that case if you go for the CANBUS version it's a very simple connection to an existing connector just above the left hand rear wheel arch.
These people have it in stock but I don't know about shipping to Zagreb.

Here's the fitting instructions as pdf.

No problem, I've used the universal type kit previously on an Audi Q7 with LED lighting. It is doable but you might need to trace the wires manually. I ended up having to pierce the really thin wiring with a needle so I could connect it to a multimeter to confirm which was which.
With any luck the MG will be a bit easier to do.
