MG4 Traffic sign recognition keeps turning off

I wouldn't be surprised if it's a case of pressing the brake pedal (for the READY state) at the wrong time. ?‍

I have the opposite problem; it turns on every time I start the car

I have found that if it is switched off at night it will switch on in morning.
If however you have it switched on during the day, you will find tomorrow the opposite it switches off.

I suspect you'll find that this observation is restricted to just you (and maybe a few others) - the rest of us will observe that traffic sign recognition is always on until we turn it off.

I am amazed I have only owned my mg 4 for two weeks. I find on the forum many people have found this fault. Maybe you are lucky and your system working actively as it should. As an IAM member and observer, traffic recognition is paromement. To find this switched off ever morning is a software problem as far as I am concerned.

And all I'm saying is that you are in the minority ... almost nobody posts on a forum about a problem that they're not having.

And your observation likely only applies to a subset of those who do have this issue.

But I agree that it is a software issue - sometimes software updates don't "take" properly and need to be reapplied.

I have it too. It doesn't happen a lot but sometimes, i take my MG4 and notice that traffic sign recognition was disable by itself.
