MG4 Trophy (23) - Lost Tow Eye Cover

Hello all, the lease on my 23 plate Trophy ends on Tuesday and when I had a quick check of the car today, I noticed a “hole” at the front of the car. Found out it’s called a Tow Eye Cover and according to my local MG4 dealer, it’s a £15 piece of painted plastic that they can order in for me.

Unfortunately, it’s not going to arrive in time for the vehicle collection date and I’m going to have to hope the lease company take a sensible view on this. Just interested in whether anyone has experienced something similar and it might be a design fault that would/should have been fixed under warranty.

On my MG4, the rear tow eye cover popped out, but that was on aplastic tether so it was there dangling. Not lost and easy to push back into place. The front sounds a bad design if it doesn't have a tether.
