Being on a roadtrip I frequently use my ceedit card to pay for road tolls etc. Upon taking off from the toll station I placed the card on the sliding lid/deck. Not a good idea! The card slid backwards and under the lip and I could hear it dropping into tve void.
It looks like the console is one big piece.
Does anybody know how access this void?
Otherwise I'll have to drop the car at the dealer when I return home in a couple of weeks

I had that happen with a five pound note - waited for ages but there was no change 🤪

I posted the relevant pages from the manual on this thread;

Thanks for the very elaborate details. It's amazing what this forum have of information 🙏
It has made my decision easier. I will order a new credit card and leave it to some car archeology to ponder on what has gone on in this car 🤔😁

Getting a new credit card is probably way easier @webhiker (y)

I once lost a house key down inside my Golf. It was still there when the car went for scrap.

Not sure why, but I'm imagining a car ordering expensive accessories for itself...
A new set of 20 inch BBS alloy wheels with Michelin Cross Climate tyres, a large frunk, leather seat covers, deep pile carpets, upgraded sound system, ceramic coating....

@webhiker, try sticking a decent sized piece of double-sided sticky tape approximately where your indigoneo card is, and then slide the lid open and closed a few times. If I'm honest, this probably won't work, but you never know, you just might get lucky and it'll catch your credit card. Good Luck.
