Has anyone heard any more about an undertray fix from your dealer (those affected only, please)?
You probably could via consumer contract regs but is it worth it? It's in customer and dealer interests to just get the issue fixed. I'm out of the easy 30 day window now but I've taken the view that the warranty should cover any issues. Everybody needs to make their own minds up though sometimes these things can spoil your opinion of the product as a whole and that's fine too.A lot more knowledgeable people on hear than me, what is our legal recourse with all the issues ?
Oil leak, undertray dip and software issues. Could you get a full refund if asked? Surely its not as advertised?
I believe someone already has within the 30 days?A lot more knowledgeable people on hear than me, what is our legal recourse with all the issues ?

Personally I’m enjoying the car, of the opinion that these issues will get sorted.
Had very small oil leak but no more since level reduced.
Software wise updates are being or have already been released and it’s a case of getting it updated. No deal breaking issues.
Undertray.. I still have the bulge but I expect in due course replacements will be available. And let’s face it they never advertised the underside of the car.
I'm definitely confused now but I see what you mean ?Either the above zoomed clip is of something else, or you're misinterpreting what it's showing. The bulge does indeed face forward (so acting as a "scoop") - just look at other photos in this thread and elsewhere; they've all been taken from in front of the rear wheels and looking back.
That looks like foam filler?Just received my Trophy on Friday and checked straight away and it has the dreaded bulge!!
Also just noticed something orangey dangling down....paper? Rag? will need to see if I can reach it.

Leaf?
Those blummin Nissans get everywhere!Just checked again and its gone, so could have been a leaf?
Within 30 days as I did it’s straightforward getting a full refund. After that it gets more complicated and they can reduce the amount for mileage etc.A lot more knowledgeable people on hear than me, what is our legal recourse with all the issues ?

What I really don't understand is how this passes any dealer's PDI !Just received my Trophy on Friday and checked straight away and it has the dreaded bulge!!

Because it's a new model, dealers originally assumed it was deliberate and not a fault. What I really don't understand is how this passes any dealer's PDI !
I’ll be doing my own checks before I drive off the forecourt, customer checklist in hand: MG4 customer checklistWhat I really don't understand is how this passes any dealer's PDI !
