MG4 Undertray dip/bulge

My car has been in since Tuesday for the undertray to be replaced and the left star button to be looked at as I can't assign anything to it . As of now I'm waiting for a call from the dealer. Earlier they told me the the tray was done but that they couldn't get "the buttons" to work. I asked what buttons? and they said the voice and star which is odd as the voice button was working when I left it with them. They have said that they have tried multiple updates but they won't take I. I got warnings via the app yesterday suggesting that they were working on the car but haven't today. I was advised that they were talking to MG to see if anything else could be tried. In the meantime I'm in an MG 5. I quite like it, lol.

I had my bulge fixed today by Portsmouth MG with the support bar fitted. All now flat and tidy. I feel much better. Strangely there seemed to be more wind noise from the back on the drive home. I've been avoiding fast roads in the wet. Now I can let it rip. :)

Mine was also present when I picked it up. But it was manufactured 9 months before I got it as a lightly used demonstrator. The temperature would have been fairly mild for most of its time, except for part of the last month (September, first month of spring down under).

And my new unregistered car was a staggering 20 months old. The warping might sometimes occur on the ship from China. Who knows?

Mine was there when I first looked, which was a few weeks after getting the car. I never saw it change, not even the time the dealer said they had "refitted" the undertray.

Mine was there from the off (October 24 reg) and as I knew about it from this forum I pointed it out to the dealer at handover and noted it on the handover sheet .
Just had it replaced this week and it's a flat as a pancake now . The car was also in to have the left star button sorted which wasn't assignable . The dealer said that they were waiting for MG to come back with a fix. Eventually I got fed up with waiting and driving their loan MG5 that I picked my car up yesterday. The button works! I don't know what they've done and I don't know what they were waiting for other than they may have got confused with the voice command not working which , as we've discussed in a previous post , it wouldn't unless they connected AA or Carplay. ( That works too btw. )
