MG5 Standard Range ?

Thought I would start this as feeling a bit left out by all the long range talk. Owned since October 21 returning about 170-180 miles with mixed driving. GOM says 211 after a full charge.

Is your accumulated total from day one or can you reset that, it's higher than mine but I've not had any summer driving

No, I reset the trip about 2 miles after I set off. It showed a GOM reading of 213 when I started

This equates to over 329 miles for a full charge I guess you live on a hill and took the picture when you got to the bottom after a rest at the top ?

Your doing really well most people are getting 2miles for 1% of charge you are getting 25% more that's impressive want to swap cars lol

Best I’ve had since I got the car at the end of October. Normally I don’t get much over 3kwh and sometimes less. I do always have the air con on and a heavy right foot when pulling away at lights. Today was the warmest outside temperature and I had no heating just air con on and it made quite a difference.
Although oddly I have always found the GOM and battery % give me a range of 2 miles to 1% or range of 200 miles and this has proven true in terms of actual miles travelled. So I’m hoping summer will bring an increased range

I was just amazed and happy to get over 4 for the first time ever! ?

Look at the outside temprature that is your best guide to miles per Kw!
It was warm the other day (12 deg) and I saw 4.1 m/kw. in daylight
the following day was cold (2 deg) and I saw 2.9 m/kw all the same setting and journey!
When estimating your range the best indicator is the outside temperature so always look at the met office weather application. Theres a good temperature gauge fitted to the car use it!
The only other key variable seems to be the load in the car. carrying 4 passengers in a hilly area certainly makes a difference (somthing to do wth physics - mass x acceleration etc)
In the summer you can often see 4.9 - 5.1 m/kw

3.5m/kwh since my Kers update on 7th December. That's with some pretty cold mornings

Since my KERs update was done you can see I have covered 1223 miles my average is 2.9 per KW hr. also you can see my average speed (16 mph), which is mainly school runs in heavy traffic or town driving. Just for my own interest I took the next photo having changed KERs 3 to 1 and the GOM doesn’t adjust at all. Whereas in the next two pictures you will see changing mode to N drops the GOM by 6 miles and when put into S it drops a further 12 miles. I normally drive in Eco mode so have no real experience of effects on range using Sport or Normal. I wonder if anyone has any real life data to share on using Sports and Normal modes?

I drive generally in Normal but not exclusively sometimes using ECO in heavy stop start traffic. I prefer the responsiveness of Normal. I vary the KERS setting depending on the road and traffic.
As, I think it was @EVsince2016 said, there is more to driving an EV than just ECO/3.

Try it yourself find your own best , going down gentle hills in KERS1, driving country roads in KERS 1 or 2, Motorways KERS1 etc.
Have some fun trying, moving between KERS levels as you go and build your own data to suit your daily needs, locality, and driving style.

Exactly, using the right KERS downhill to gather power without the car slowing down, gentle hills 1, medium hills 2 steep hills 3.

Same as other road conditions, the more the car slows, it has to accelerate to regain momentum. Accelerating uses more power than regenning, so hard accelerate then hard slow etc. is not too efficient.
