Note to mod, I was going to add this to my 55-65mph thread, but didn't want it to be swallowed up, as it is a genuine fresh observation. (IMO) ?

If you don't like a long post?
Walk away now while you have a chance.?

Good Afternoon Chaps (and Chap-ess)
We do have just the one lady, I believe? (Sadly)

I've had the car 10 months now and to my shame, I did something for the first time today and genuinely 'think' 'feel'? that the vibes were gone.

I was sat in Mcd's having a Coffee after returning from Carmarthen with some pipe and fittings to finish off my hot water system.
(Honestly! Just a coffee!)
Not my usual Sausage and Egg Muffin Meal.

The Cat has taken to headbutting me at about 6am for food and to be let out, so I got up, fed him, let him out, and had porridge for breakfast.

Anyway I digress.....

It struck me that I had yet to remember to turn off the ESC whilst out and about.

I find it always interferes when applying full throttle on a sweeping road that leads onto a fast straight road near Mcd's. (St Clears Roundabout)

But today I remembered to switch it off.....

I finished my coffee, got out of the car, put the cup in the bin, got back in the car and set about the menu.

(Oh by the way, in case your wondering? I'm sat opposite my water tank waiting to see if any of the 9 new connections I have made, doth decide to leak, and have time for a good few words in this post)

Not used "doth" for a while.

Anyway, do I digress? Yes I do.

'Get on with it ***!!'

I swiped down the home page and disabled ESC, Set Sport Mode and put on the lap timer, set to street.

My wife is in Devon looking after her elderly mother, and I don't often have the car to myself as it were, so decided to have a bit of fun, and go the back way home.

The first thing I noticed when requesting Beanage off of the roundabout, was that there was no nannying of the power.

You can usually feel it being reined in just approaching the apex of the turn, but today, nothing.

Just dug in, and accelerated with zero interruption. Nice. (Jazz Club)

The next thing I noticed was zero vibes......And I mean none.
And I was looking for them.

I went through the fabled mph trouble spot on numerous occasions, and nothing was noted. Nothing.

Obviously 'Full Beanage' everywhere, was not possible, but I had enough time in the vibe zone to really notice the difference.

The Lap/Street Timer, is just a bit of fun and has nothing to do with any of the cars settings.
Purely a tool measuring G loadings, time, power, speed and distance.

I never really noticed the vibes this particular trip, and it may just of been me being wrapped up in the drive, despite actively feeling for the vibes.

My vibes really are at an almost undetectable level most of the time so I can at least be happy with that.

Oh and ZERO leaks. ?

I guess the next test would be to get into the "vibe zone" and toggle the ASC. If your theory holds, then this should also toggle the vibrations.

I have a 600 mile round trip coming up in a week or so might do some motorway cruising testing.

This is a friendly forum. Unfriendly posts like this are not welcome.
Someone do a TLDR please ?

No need for Snide comments on the forum.
I've put a warning at the beginning of the post that it is long.
No one is forced to read anything here.
Just trying to be helpful. ?

Ah don't worry pal, it will be back to normal tomorrow!
Im going to give it a try over the weekend, Although with the amount of vibes I get from just driving off, I doubt it will work.

I commend you on your perseverance!

If mine had not settled down to what they have now become, I'm not sure I would have stuck with it tbh.

Well Im counting down the months until I can hand it back,17 to go! More and more rattles occurring, seem to be on a daily basis!

I can just about live with it, as Im driving a lot less than I did. So no need to go down that route, but thanks anyway.

Nah.
Given Up.

Came out early Sunday AM and have tried the original set up which had my vibes back to normal (IE minimal, but there) and every other combo I can think of.

ESC off, Sport Mode, Regen Adaptive, AC off

ESC on, Normal Mode, Regen 3, AC on (don't laugh! Some folk can feel their compressor through the wheel)

ESC off, glovebox open, left rooflight on, left door with one bottle of water........

Yada Yada.

You get the picture.

Oh well back to just waiting and hoping.

Another with ESC on/off nae change.

Defo think that (out of the numerous things folk have tried) pumped up tyres have masked the vibes the most.

Caveat that mine were never horrendous to start off with...

As mentioned on the vibe thread, tried this again on Friday. Outward journey seemed to improve things, return journey back to normal!
