When putting holes onto the bodywork should I be using some sort of rust inhibitor afterwards?

It goes into the plastic trim only

As MG no longer list mud flaps. Has anyone fitted the original MG mud flaps to the new face lift model

Tried fitting pre facelift flaps. Front ones fitted perfectly, the rear one didn't. The problem with them as well is they are far to narrow for the wider wheels. Need at least eight inches width to cover the MK2.
These modern molded flaps seem more for show than effect so went for the older flexible rubber ones sold on Ebay with the MG logo in red color (Suits my car) or white if car different color. Well Pleased
