New MG4 Shipments

Sadly, my blue Trophy is still showing as "Shortage" on my dealer's system.

When did you order? I ordered the same on the 10th October

I ordered a blue Trophy on 6th September and the dealer has told me early January.

It was a pre-order, converted when the books opened on August 19th.

I've put a deposit down for a Orange Trophy last week that my dealer had got through their allocation, I've got a vin no & have been told hopefully it should be towards the end of October as MG ideally want them registered for their Oct figures, what are the chances of my car already being in the country or possibly still on a ship? if anyone has any info would be greatly appreciated

Assuming that the boat docks on time they are fairly quick getting them out. Mine is due to dock on the 22nd and the dealer is wanting me to pick it up before month end.

What are the last 3 digits of your VIN? Might be the same dealer and I've got his manifest with 3 orange ones on so I know the boat!

Thanks for the info, probably a good chance mine is on one of the 2 boats due to dock around this time then, I know my dealer in Northumberland had 3 trophy's coming, think they were all orange & I got the last one, hopefully well have some definite answers re the oil leaks by the time ours are PDI'd!

Different dealer then as I'm a little bit further south than you. As you say hopefully they will have sorted out a few issues by the time they arrive.

My order for my Black trophy is on the order as 01/03/23.

My dealer has now estimated (which he says is all that they can do) that if I want a non orange Trophy then I'm looking at January. That will be 19/20 weeks from my August order date. I'm now thinking if I like the orange enough, having seen it a couple of times in person, to switch from my ordered grey!

I'm in Scotland ... Arnold Clark MG, East Kilbride. I had a test drive last Saturday and ordered then - originally wanted a white one but the stock they had coming in were all reserved, so I reserved a Camden Grey one (which was actually my original choice but SWMBO wasn't so keen in case it made the car less visible on the road)

I live in South East , Kent and couldn't find a local dealer within 150miles that had any allocated stocks but they were all quoting 8-12 weeks wait. I got offered Red though but I want the grey.

The only dealers offering me Grey for end of the Month/mid November is either in NewCastle, Birmingham or South Shield.

I am happy to take my chances someone will refuse a SE in grey, because I originally put a deposit down for a trophy in Leeds which I think is on its way so there is that.

Good news. The Goodwood has just left Piraeus in Greece this morning and is due in Bristol on October 20th.
