Very impressed with range 198 without heater, 180 with auto heater at 20C and heated seats.

Very nice
smooth ride on motorway and zippy in town as I remembered on test drive last Nov!

Totally different car to my Disco 3 - but happy with the change and not having to visit petrol pumps ever again!
VESS sounds strange at low speed at first, but not too intrusive and disappear above 20mph.

Yet to try Apple CarPlay but stereo is ok to listen to.

Looking good. I picked up mine yesterday and equally impressed. I havent got the dog guard but after a look we decided that the lip is too deep and we are just using the boot for storage and using the back seat with proper covers for the dog.

Picked mine up (in Piccadilly Blue) on Saturday. Well presented car. Still, lockdown has restricted the fun of new car ownership. Looking forward to some longer drives when we get out of this terrible time.

Looks good.
I did order Blue but now think the Silver may look better, its looks a tinge of Grey?

I've noticed the black strip under the rear number plate that's mentioned on other threads. From looking at the second picture it looks like a quite thick black bar bolted on. I know there are holes there for other size plates but is there no alternative, maybe a little larger plate as I had on my 19my Discovery?

They do look very nice cars and quite similar to numerous other estates around.

Loving the range and the green number plates. :)

Not sure about different size plates for UK but the plastic strip certainly covers two holes directly below the ones holding the plate

I suppose you could get a vinyl strip made up with something amusing or witty?
edit
There is no specified legal size other than an absolute minimum margin of 11mm producing a minimum height of 101mm (one line) and 199mm (2 line) on cars, and 86mm for one line import vehicles

Stolen from wiki so could be wrong, but it is the There is no specified legal size means finding somebody who can make one that over both sets of holes

Something I read here or on another thread regarding the black bar under the rear index plate that some people have.
We visited the dealer today for the ZS BMS update and had a nose around and viewed the stock and could see what I thought maybe my car for a March delivery should I choose to except it subject to roof rails being resolved and now the yes/no timed charging.

I asked when/if I take delivery of the MG 5 can we not have a larger plate like on the LR Discovery and he said yes, we always fit the larger plate using all the holes in the boot lid. Apparently the bar comes with the car from the factory and he told me that some dealers use it as the smaller plate costs less and the customer is no wiser ?

Yes we are hoping to get the same car from the same dealer once our Energy Saving trust loan comes through!
