Most people seem to have the footwell lit the same colour as the car. Does that apply to black car owners? ???

Anywhere to be honest, as long as you face the LEDs away from your eyes, you get that nice ambient glow instead of harsh direct lights. A tip is behind the usb console, there is a hole where you can feed through the led strip so you just need one power point to power the led strip for driver and passenger footwell.

Just picked up my black MG ZS standard range today.

So far quite impressed with the build and quality, I like the fact this car drives very similarly to ICE cars which means very easy to get used to.

I have ready installed the sun roof LED strip as I could not stand a dark cabin at night. The result came out ok, looks nice when blinds are closed, like OEM finish but with the curtain open, you can see the roof reflection of the light strip which is less ideal.

Secondly I have installed another led strip along the front driver and passenger footwell, powered by the OBD port. I think this came out quite nice.

I forgot to take photos, but once I do, I will post them up.

I have a question regarding the rear number plate lights though. I'm surprised by the manual suggesting the rear bumper needed to be dismantled to gain access? Is this true? Does anyone have a guide please?

Cool. Do they come on with the normal interior light?
