For the next three weeks, I'm up and out at 05:30 to go to the hospital, I notice that the dash dims when the lights are on but the central screen stayed bright and on country roads it is so bad I had to cover it up, is there an option to darken it and still have it usable?

There is an option to link both screens so that the infotainment one dims along with the drivers one.

Thank U MG Clive

Can we hope that if we choose AUTO using the method you describe we won't be bothered by this inconvenience?
Auto works ok. Was out this morning 6am and screen automatically was in dark mode, then this afternoon was out again and it was automatically in light mode

Kev, this is where you will find the options on screen brightness.

Hi Kev, are talking about the big screen, I use Apple Maps and it’s so bright I’m having difficulty driving at night. Did you find a solution?
Cheers Noel
I've not felt up to delving into it since Noel, I took the meds as prescribed but went back to the docs yesterday who said if it's no better by Monday I'll leave a script for 7 days on a different antibiotic at Asda to pick up only if you need it, I may not wait til Monday.

Only 3 more days of Radiotherapy left next week all done by Wednesday, I got there this morning and my scooter was acting up so I had about a half-mile walk to get into the hospital from the BB carpark, I had to stop several times but by heck, it was bloody cold and windy.

Silly boss managed to move the lever from drive to freewheel, simple fix, but I didn't know you had to flick it back with the key off, lesson learned and will be forgotten no doubt, it's fun getting old innit.

I will hopefully look into the lights thing next week, I could do with a very brief set of simple instructions to take a screen shot off before I attempt it, I'm not good with instructions normally.
