Noisy wipers

Hello my mg screen wipers are noisy .

Not that I've noticed - do you mean the actual wiper blades or the mechansim driving them?

Strange, mine are smooth. Is it worht trying to get replacement blades from your dealer, under warranty?

I'm pretty sure they will say they are a 'ware...and tare' item....but its worth a try.

You're right of course, but if the car is only a few weeks old it might be worth shouting about!

First couple of times I used mine the driver's side big one was wobbly, juddering a bit, but it's settled down now.
I had the same with the Prius and when I mentioned it to the Toyota dealer at the first service they replaced both wipers FOC, problem was, the new wipers were the same at first, but they did settle down.

Should not happen with new wiper blades but worth checking there is no dirt or grit trapped under rubber.

Before I wash my car, I use some kitchen roll with neat washing up liquid on rub it along each wiper blade...I then use another piece on the windscreen. Then wash in the normal way.
