First couple of times I used mine the driver's side big one was wobbly, juddering a bit, but it's settled down now.

Before I wash my car, I use some kitchen roll with neat washing up liquid on rub it along each wiper blade...I then use another piece on the windscreen. Then wash in the normal way.
