Number plates

Has anyone got rear number plates like this they cover the unsightly extra holes in the boot lid

Neither of these are actually legal number plates.
The first is a genuine car but the second is not registered with the DVLA.

AFAIK, the size of the plate isn't mandated, the size of lettering and spacing is, so, either of those plates would be legal subject to letter size and spacing being correct. I stand to be corrected.

The size of the plates doesn't matter. I had LAG4 on tiny plates. But neither of those plates have the manufacturers name and postcode along the bottom, which means they are show plates and subsequently illegal on the road.

I am sure you will be able to get these plates in a road legal form it’s about the shape to cover the extra holes and to get rid of that crap looking black plastic strip that some leave on the car

Size of the plate, or shape it seems are not specified it is the size and spacing of the characters. Plate design is touched upon, dealers name or post code, not patterned. background, but that's. about it.
