So my new to me mg5 is throwing the attached codes, only as pending and then they will change to archived, no warnings are coming up on the dashboard.

Anyone else’s seen this?

Should I be worried or is this the jank inherent in the software?

Just a touch concerned :)

Quick update I ticked more boxes and got some more codes but no warnings still.

First thought that crosses my mind is battery voltage (12V).

Seems fine charging at 14 and showing 12.6 with hv battery off.

Could be though it drops voltage very quick

So the 12V battery is returning 12.8-9 volts so looks good, (tested independently of battery monitor)

Tried with a different OBD scanner and it found nothing.

It’s very odd.

I am using a Carly scanner in as an one with car scanner

An active DTC usually triggers a warning light on the dash, the fact that you have none leaves me to believe they aren’t real and are set due to a communication problem somewhere along the line…

That’s good to hear

I have a suspicion these might be left over from the dealership replacing the 12V battery before my ownership.

I have cleared them three times and now I only have one set for the power steering still pending

Going to keep an eye.
Does anyone have a list of MG EV codes?

The one I have left is U17FD (83) relating to power steering but I can’t find any other info online

Thanks all

Thanks guys
I have one u code
One b - which i assume is body
And two p - power train ?

No lights in dash though, just trying to get to the bottom of if these codes are serious or are related to the scanner I use or can be realistically ignored
I have put a query in with the dealership
Thanks for all the help
