OBD2 Data on Infotainment??

I couldn't find where to change the timeout value. Your post says , settings, connection, advanced , but I can't find any connection tab in settings ?
That's because I got it wrong ?. To get to the connection page from settings you click on 'Adapter' then 'Advanced Settings' and not 'Connection' then 'Advanced' as I stated.

With the adaptor in the disconnected state it looks like this on mine:

The above may improve the values on the dashboard (I can't check as the car's not here at the moment), but will help some values when displayed on there own via the 'live data' page.

To speed up the initial connection you can optionally try changing the ECU protocol on the connection page from 0 to 6:

I can't check the steps required at the moment, but if you want to try displaying a single value the process via live data is roughly:

Connect the dongle.
Live data from the main page.
Select '1' at the top to show only one graph.
Click the blue value name just above the top left of the graph.
Click the value you want.
If the value is supported on the MG4 it should update the value several times a second.

Most of the working values are way down at the bottom of the list on mine.
