Hi everyone,

Just a bit of a heads up. Plugged in the OBD2 sensor (Vgate iCar pro) this morning. Faffed around connecting it to an app, but then I got to work and locked the car.

Got no further than 30ft away before the car alarm went off. Locked it, unlocked. Alarm stopped.

Locked again to the same result. Went through this 5 times.

Unplugged the OBD2 and locked the car and walked away and it was fine.

First time I'd plugged it in since getting the MG4. It was the one I used to have in my Mk1 ZS EV. I'll probably just put it back in the drawer at home.

I’ve had one plugged in for weeks and have had no issues at all. I’m in the process of trying to build my own HUD.

With a Raspberry Pi, I’ve been able to pull speed and battery state. I’ve not looked for much else, but there’s several other metrics available from what I understand, though obviously not as many as an ICE car.

There should be many metrics, actually, like actual charge/discharge of battery, temperatures, etc. Take a look at all the things people can read from a Tesla. I don't know if you need any help, but if you have any dumps or anything with values to decode, I can probably give you a hand.
