Octopus Go?

How many panels do you have and what inverter to put that much back into the grid?
I thought you only need to use a G99? If you have a5kW inverter.

This is at work. One site we have 140kw of panels on the roof. On a nice sunny day, with 2 cars charging at 7kw and running the whole building including several AC units, we still have a surplus of 40kw.

The other 2 sites are a bit more Conservative with 'only' around 75kw of panels. All have industrial ASHPs to supplement the gas boilers during the winter.

Ill have a look at the letter and grab some screenshot next week, it's all rather impressive.

Are the current tariff rates for Octopus Go for new customers locked for a year or is that a silly question?
As it stands the higher day rate compared to my current SSE deal makes the move uneconomical but I’m thinking if it’s guaranteed for a year but SSE isn’t….

Anyone know?

We get a snotty letter every few weeks for ukpn because apparently exporting 40kw is not acceptable ?
