Osprey chargers

I don't think I have had any issues with Osprey.
Did you use a CC, RFID card or an app to start the charge?

Yes I had trouble with Osprey chargers a while ago, My first & only attempt at public charging didn't go to plan, I just wanted to try it out & ended with the charger not connecting to my Gen 1 zs ev & locking the charge handle in place, I had to open the bonnet & pull the release cable to unlock it, This happened at two separate Osprey chargers. I never bothered with public chargers again as I don't need to use them as I do all my charging at home.

Help! Has anyone else had trouble charging with Osprey charging points. My MG Zs refused to connect once plugged in.

Could be anything and it could happen randomly on any random charger. If this was one-off on that particular charger and it works next time, nothing to worry about - it happens ...?
Try on another Osprey and few other chargers just to make sure it's not happening regularly.

Used one at the weekend only issue I had was that the app told me the I’d of the one I was connecting to was not working but it was also used the Electroverse app at 7pm and got 20% off

I completely understand that you don't need to use a public charger so, in that sense, you could forget about it. However, why not try another one because it could be the car at fault in which case it should be repaired under warranty? Might make a difference when it's time to move the car on.

I mentioned it to the service dept when it went in for its first MOT shortly after trying those Osprey chargers & he said he'll look into it, I forgot to ask him after I picked it up later that day. I traded it in for the Gen ll trophy shortly afterwards & haven't tried this one on public chargers yet.
