Owners: Would you buy another Cyberster?

Hi all,

The Cyberster has been on my ‘very interested’ list for a while, and I’m hoping to grab one in March from the 24 plate stock before they roll into 25 plate (and the expensive car supplement gets added).

I’ve test driven the car before and was a little underwhelmed but that may have been me with high expectations.

So for those that have had the car for a few months, would you buy another new one, wait another year for a 2nd hand one, or go with another car?

Also, I thought dealers were required to keep the cars for 2 years under lease, but there are loads of ex-demos popping up on auto trader.

Would I buy it again in hindsight, rather than buy another one… Definitely. My kids always want to be driven in it, and their school friends just go “Wow. Look at the doors!” - makes a change from all the other cars that they see. . Still haven’t seen another one on the road, so it’s very exclusive.
Would I buy second hand, that’s more an individual finance decision. There’s a few annoying bugs, but I wouldn’t sell mine as there’s no other 2 seater electrical convertible on the market. Unlikely to get the Boxster as not expecting the same “cool dad” vibes from the kids!

But £5 to charge the car up, it’s a great ride for my daily commute.

I have loved my ownership, great for the commute, excellent for trips at the weekend with the roof down at every opportunity. Love driving the surrey hills roof down listening to the countryside.
I put my deposit down last June, was hoping to get some summer use, it was a shame it never came till the end of September but I would definitely buy again.
