Paint scratch on the matte green

Yep like all dealers do that when you buy a new car not just black cars, but what I’m saying my MG loving friend is if you are a new person buying a new car look at the paintwork before you drive away, it may save you money, and you are so right about my black car. Just saying that to my old woman when she came to see me… so when I get home from my little holiday I will be giving my nice new friend at the dealership a visit.

But thats your supplying dealer’s preparation, nothing to do with MG. Plus black and dark cars are notorious for showing every little scratch. I will never own another black car for that reason.

Agreed and I would just add that metallic grey cars are great for not showing any swirls ??

Neither does white! Pity about the shiny black plastic trim though! As discussed elsewhere there are ways to keep on top of that and reduce the fine scratches as much as possible.

I know the info is here somewhere, but as usual I can't find it!

This may have been said before, Hell, I may have even said it before, but just cleaned my scratched, water marked black trim at the C Pillars, back to 'As New' with some Autoglym Super Resin Polish.
Just a couple of minutes per side. Easy.

Triangle of trim on the rear door is before.
