Painted Yes or No

Hi ,
Our Pretty amazing Mg ev is in Mg Exeter having a few small glitches investigated.
Has anyone noticed the metal bar directly behind the honeycomb grill missing it’s top coat of colour ( our car is red)?The bar on ours seems to have a beige undercoat with a dusting of red.

Will look at that when I pick mine up Saturday, undercoat tends to absorb water over time, especially if it's a water based paint.

Mg Exeter have sent pictures of bar to Mg Uk,so will wait for reply. The bar will get pretty wet as not much protection by grill.

Sorry I forgot to get back to you, but I've just looked and mine's the same as yours except the paint underneath the dusting of red is grey on mine, but it's not actually undercoat/primer type paint, it's just the base coat for the colour so no worries.
