Phase 1 or Phase 2 - How can I tell?

I always though turanzas were a summer touring tyre which version is on your car
I was hoping they were the new 6, however they are t005 ev's. and indeed a summer tyre :(

Hmm. I used to live there. There were times...
I thought you did given your earlier description of the Dorking road. We moved down from Surrey. I much prefer Horsham.
Was born in Edinburgh, quite near you. Then moved up to Conon Bridge. Compared to the Highlands there really is not much snow in winter down here, although it does seem to bring everything to a standstill. Its interesting watching them trying to drive their Chelsea tractors when a couple of snow flakes fall, Cobham is impassible

I lived in Southwater for 18 years.

I remember one November. I was going to a dinner in the Caledonian Club in London. I drove to Gatwick airport and on to Victoria on the Gatwick Express. It was snowing a bit when I got there. Leaving late, the train zoomed under the North Downs with no problem. I was able to drive from Gatwick to Southwater in good order, although there was a couple of inches of snow.

In the morning, several of our technicians were essentially wrecked. They'd gone to their evening class at Nescot college (Epsom, I think), sharing one car. The local roads, built on hills in the North Downs without any thought of snow, and not gritted in time, were impassable. The footage of the carnage on the local news was actually quite hilarious for someone used to Scotland. The technicians hadn't got home till about five in the morning, and were zombies.

Bridgestone Turanza aren’t all-season.
Well…technically any tyre is all-season if you just leave it on all year….
But it’s not an all-season tyre in the sense that no allowance for snow driving has been made.

Did some more checking on this and they are the same tyres that are on the x power, they are Bridgestones new effort at all season performance tyres. I am a bit surprised as previous tyres (on my ZS) were not the best. I think their version of all season might be based on Califonian climates, I dont think I would throw it about in the snow. The car is handling extremely well (so far) with them.

Says its into best catagory for snow.... I shall wait and see

Proper all season tyres ( snow rated ) have markings saying so.
A mountain graphic with a snowflake etc
If they have that, fair enough.
