They’re ostensibly there for Aero reasons, although they probably make 2/10s of fudge all difference when compared to the effect a heavy right foot would have.I have just had a look at the new zs ev, very nice, except I couldn't believe it had plastic hub caps over the mags, looked cheap.
We prefer our model, nice mags
I'm with you, they make it near damm near impossible to check them with my tyre pressure gauge, I did think of removing the covers and leaving them off.I find it difficult to check the fudgeing tyre pressures and have been reluctant to remove them as mine are very stiff and I am worried the fudgeing clips may brake ?
Why don't you use the function on the dash or in the MG app. Gives you the tye pressures without messing with the tyre valvesI find it difficult to check the fudgeing tyre pressures and have been reluctant to remove them as mine are very stiff and I am worried the fudgeing clips may brake ?
So do I but most new EVs have some sort of plastic covers or inserts on the wheels for aero. Agree with other comment though it would only provide small benefit but I guess they all add up.I have just had a look at the new zs ev, very nice, except I couldn't believe it had plastic hub caps over the mags, looked cheap.

I am used to periodically checking the tyre pressures manually and then resetting the system in the ZS. That said I see your point. Why don't you use the function on the dash or in the MG app. Gives you the tye pressures without messing with the tyre valves
I'm talking Gen 1. Haven't seen Gen 2 in Australia yet.I think the mags under the covers are ugly.
