OK, I said I was confused and now I'm really confused.

Why are you confused it should be easy to understand, I responded then you responded.

I'll attempt to inprove your understanding, it is a bit confusing to outsiders.

A camper van can be anything you like from a small Berlingo up to a large RV it is just a term, we call ours the camper or just the van, Motorhome generally means it has full facilities on board, a camper is too small normally to house a fixed toilet or shower, but you can get a porta potty and a shower tent,

Motorhome around the world has a different connotation and can be a acaravan, 5th wheeler or a huge RV, in the UK there is no such thing as they wil appear as a Motor Caravan on the V5 or sometimes if DVLA are being as stupid as usual a "van with windows" this is usually when a self builder has asked for it to be changed on their V5 to Motor caravan, (this can have an effect on insurance and road speeds allowed) I have built my own Camper, van or Motorhome??? (I have full info if required) and I must have sent in my request with a good covering letter and multiple pictures of it including as required for the change all the things on the DVLA requirements list

Seemed like a good idea when diesel here went up to 2.05 Euro/Litre. Now its down to 1.58 max.

A mobile home is a static caravan on a site, stupidly named I agree.

I guess it depends where you are from. A mobile home over here has all the bells and whistles a house has, often better, the old "Happy Wife, happy life" will see big $$ spent making the mobile home everything and more that the wife could hope for, then they free camp for weeks at a time near a great fishing/surfing/outback peace and quite spot powered by solar and lithium batteries ... that was the business we had for 12 yrs .... the website the wife wrote to get it out there in plain speak rather than me getting all techo and loosing people after a few minutes :lol: T1 Lithium | Custom-built lithium batteries for RVs and off grid no self advertising here, the place burnt to the ground 15 mths ago and will never do the Pheonix thing and rise from the ashes ..... the planned house power sodium ion battery will weigh about the same as 200Ah of deep cycle AGM batteries and power a full electric 10 mtr x 2.5mtr 1 bedroom luxury suite for 3 days with zero solar ... that includes a proper built in induction cooktop, 250 ltrs 240vac fridge/freezer, all the household plug in kitchen devices, hot water and air con if used with a bit of care .... no problem while the sun shines, but if it's pouring rain .... maybe not for the whole day

With the great DC to DC converters EVs have these days, a decent traction battery would keep a modest house battery full for quite some time ......

The second one is a campervan if it is not self contained and has it's own shower and toilet, if it does, then it is a mobile home (edited added info) or motorhome is you actually drive it from place to place. Some will get temporary registration and move with the seasons, but most don't stay in one place for much more than a week, so the vehicle is registered for 12 mths at a time
the last picture is a transportable home, house, habitat, cabin ... what ever you want to name it, but it must have its own toilet and shower, it's an onsite van if you have to use the parks amenities

No idea what the classifications are over there .....

I sold my house in 2006 and moved up to a friends caravan park, I bought a old "Mobile Home" 12 foot x 35 foot, it had 4 wheels but no way would it be road legal in the UK except to be offloaded and tired by tractor onto site.

It had three bedrooms, a bathroom and a kitchen, a good sized lounge, central heating etc, it was bolted to the concrete pad.

You also have what is called a Parkham, much more rigid and can be really high specified.

We considered one place from outfit in East Kilbride called a retreat home, these are built to building regs, but site costs are such a rip off I moved in with the Boss as she had been divorced for a while, I got her off ebay, not asked for a refund yet but she's pushing it, if I was younger I'd maybe train up a new one, bit it's too much trouble getting through all the cotton wool.

If it's anything like over here, weight for a conflict to start some where, or a holiday week end ..... or they decide amongst themselves they need to new trophy wife/house/island, yacht .... what ever, so they create an oil shortage so they can have an excuse to put the price up.
An EV allows you to give them the bird, if you can charge from home, you can even add the tongue poking out to the gesture :lol:

It's preferable to cite the source. From my perspective, if there is no citation, then the more unlikely the claim, the more easily it can be dismissed.
