Position of windscreen wipers

The wiper arms should be aligned to these 3 dots on the windscreen. Both arms have their own set of dots for proper alignment.

I do not see these dots anywhere on mine.

Is this just a question of aesthetics? Asymmetric wipers are not a new idea and they don't need to be tucked below the bonnet line to be out of the airflow.

That depends on the airflow. With the car pointing into the wind and the sahara dust blowing against the windscreen, the lowest line of the dust was below the lowest postition of the wiper on the passenger side. Thats low speed compared to driving at 70 mph. But still...

The dots are not the easiest to see but, assuming your front windscreen is originally from MG, they are there.

For sure you are correct but I have a hard time spotting them.
