Positive experiences with MG4 Accessories

My solution to the lack of light in the rear of the car...a USB light from Temu. It has a touch on/off switch, which ends up on the underside and prevents accidental operation. It has both up and down LED's. It just requires the car to be in the on state so that the USB is powered.

Like that. Great idea. To be honest no rear light doesn't bother me. And I wouldn't bother with one stuck on the roof.
But that seems great. Might investigate further. 🙂👍

I have added this light to my MG4 looks great and easy to install. Would highly recommend.

Like that. Good job. 🙂👍

Yes that's right, you get a connector that attaches to the boot light. This means it works like the normal boot light. really easy to install just follow the video they send with purchase.

Can’t speak on the ease of instal (as I had the dealer do that before delivering the car) but my BlackVue dashcam handles Australian summers with ease.
I got a viofo A229 plus for $150 during black friday... it's been on my desk for 2 months now lol. it's supposed to do well in hot climates. the a329 is also excellent but like 3x the price

Can you share the video please?
I was looking at the other accessories and the full mats they got is nice (especially in the back with kids) but quite expensive

Thanks for your advice Jon. This looks to be a useful item which I will follow up on.
Whilst on the subject of MGTitan products, I have bought their MG4 aluminium pedal covers, which are much better than the factory items, and give a better grip. The accelerator pedal didn't have any factory cover. They are a tight fit, which is good, but also have extended tabs which make the fitting much easier.

For info, I have just fitted the MGTitan strip light to my new 2024 MG4 Trophy LR. The only difficulty I had was taping the green strip supplied to the striplight power cable and then trying to feed the cable and socket behing the panelling, without getting it snagged, which it did every time.
I eventually had the idea of feeding a piece of garden hose, 15mm ID and about 500mm long behind the boot soft panelling, just below where it meets the upper hard panel, through to the boot light opening. I then simply fed the cable and socket (which just fits inside the hose) back out to the boot. I could then remove the hose without disturbing the cable.
I also found that by first temporarily taping the stiplight to the rubber boot seal, and marking the ends, I could arrange for the ends of the stiplight to be at an equal level each side. Hope this helps others fitting this item.
