MG 4 loses nationwide drive-away pricing, but receives price cut

The MG 4 isn't available with nationwide pricing anymore, but its retail price has been cut by up to $4000 from today.

You can do as well as our Aussie brethren in the UK if you are prepared to shop around.

20K is the equivalent Aussie Dollar price.

Note that in most Australian states, the price has actually increased. Base model (Excite 51) was $39,990 drive away here in WA last month, it's now $41,415.

Looks like only ACT and NT actually got a price cut on the base model.

Did anyone manage to haggle a discount on the previous drive away price?

The change to a 10 year warranty is excellent news though.

The change to a 10 year warranty is excellent news though.

That depends on the exceptions, which are presently very extensive. For example, 12 months on the 12 V battery, which the manufacturer and/or dealer might have degraded through neglect.

But definitely good news for the battery and power train.
