Every now and then, my iSmart app reports that the Privacy Notice has been declined.
Less than 10 seconds later, it reports Privacy Notice accepted. Without me touching anything.

Don’t think this is an issue, as everything works, but just curious as to why and whether others have this.

Yes I get this as well, it seems to be related to something in the car restarting as it only seems to happen around startup/unlock/charge events.

Same here, I got my xpower last week and have been having the privacy notice decline and accept notifications nearly every day! Weird

Can someone explain what Privacy notices in car actually means (im a newbie)
Welcome.

You have to accept the privacy notices on the infotainment screen (large screen in the centre of the dashboard) for binding the iSmart app to your car's account for example.

You can find them by swiping left in the centre screen, tapping settings, scroll down on the righthand side menu and tap Privacy policy, select the I agree option then switch on Map, Voice and Online music.

I too have this problem. (see my screen grab). Like the declined notice says, I’ve lost the cars GPS location, and the map function in the iSmart doesn’t work either. It was working back in November when out of curiosity I used the "locate my vehicle" whilst out and well away for the car, and it worked fine. But now its a complete no go!
I've emailed the Contact Us ([email protected]) but I'm still waiting a reply after 2 resends and a 5 week wait, so I've given up with that. I've also uninstalled the app and rebound it, but no improvement.
My latest Declined / Accepted is dated 22-1-2025, so its still ongoing.

I'll try this and see what happens. 🫰

Any other suggestions welcome. ;)

I need some help please! 🙏
Today I've followed the suggestions by Ian at #9 above, but unfortunately I'm still stuck.

I go to Settings and find the Privacy / EULA and agree the terms. (They were already agreed, but I un-agreed then re-agreed just to be sure).
I found Voice and Online Music, and they are both active and all options chosen (on?).

BUT, when I go to Map I get the screen saying, "Permission Required, You need to grant permissions to Navigation app in system settings", with the options of Go To Settings or Exit.
Go To Settings takes be back to Privacy / EULA screen I've already set to agreed!!!

Going back to the main Home Screen and wanting Navigation (Which I haven’t used for many months) it just give me the same messages as before, Permission Required, You need to grant permissions ... etc.

What do I need to do to get this thing working again?
I've earlier (around Christmas time) un-installed and re-installed the iSmart app on my phone and bound it to the car and at that time I'd accepted the Privacy / EULA agreement, but that didn’t fix it. So here I am wondering just what to do.
Is it me? Or am I missing something basic here?

Anyone got any suggestions, please.

Similar thing here, never worked properly/reliably. I especially wanted a car that I could preheat before starting a journey, including the seat. Works when it feels like it (aside from the seat, that's totally kaput but a separate fault).

Update 😟
I've fixed part of my problem; I didn’t scroll the screen up from selecting the Privacy / EULA agreement.
Now all the Map, Voice and Online music are all active, I've got the navigation screen working again.
I don’t know how I ever got to turn these off, but there again, I don’t know what I'm doing most of the time with some of these things.

But iSmart on my phone under Find My Car, still says unable to get Vehicles GPS, and there is no map showing on the phone screen.
The iSmart version is showing as V2.0.7 and I've cleared the Cache.
Everything else on iSmart seems to work OK.

Thanks everyone for your help and suggestions so far, but if anyone has any suggestions I'm more than willing to give them a try. :)
