Hey everyone,

I just updated to R63 from R40 and I have a few questions about the R63 update compared to R59:

  1. Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC): On R59, the ACC speed increased by 1 km/h with each joystick press (instead of 5 km/h as before). However, on my Xpower R63, it still jumps by 5 km/h.
  2. ACC to TJA Toggle: In R59, a long press on the left wheel middle button (ACC on/off) toggled between ACC and TJA. This feature isn't working for me on R63 (it was working on R40).
  3. Charging Percentage: I can change the charging percentage directly within the infotainment system (without using the app). I read that if the update isn't performed well, you can only change it through the app...
Did MG roll back these R59 features in the R63 update?

How is your R63 update preform?
I'll also mention that the Bluetooth issue I had with my iPhone not connecting automatically has been resolved. I'm using the CarlinKit SE Pro CarPlay Dongle.

Thanks!

1. This isn't affected by R63, which is an Infotainment-only update. You need other software updates to get the ACC change

As to the others, I'll let a Trophy/XPower owner respond

Could you please provide the names of the other updates? I need to explain them to the dealer

SC077 is one update, which improves the LKA (Lane Keep Assist) performance and is available in the UK/EU. I can't say what is available in Israel.

For each version of the ACC updates you have always had both the 5 and 1 unit change available, it is just how these activate that has been swapped. In some version of the ACC software the 5 unit increment is a single blip with the 1 unit increment being a long hold whilst in others it is the reverse of this.

There are a couple of threads which list various modules and the software versions they run, I think there was someone who posted from France who had a full list of all modules and software versions
