On my mg zs trophy I have got used to seeing what iam following on the centre of the dashboard in between the Speedo and power display.
Since my last service this function has vanished.
My dealer says it's because I have a dash cam plugged into the usb port by the mirror.
The dashcam has been there since day one and it worked fine before but the dealer can't figure it out.
Any suggestions?

unplug the camera and show him it still doesn't work ... but, more likely it was reset during service.

Check the settings for line keeping and distance , maybe they reset after the service (software update maybe). I don't use it often so from memory, mine shows nearby cars only when I have line keeping on with ACC (double pull on ACC stalk), not sure about ACC only ... pretty sure it's down to settings on MG Pilot ...
