Yes thats summer, be interesting to see what we get in our winter
Not for the MG4 as yet. I created one for the ZS. As with other merged posts like the app merged thread, I think that the best compromise is one merged thread for each of MG4, MG5, ZS and possibly general discussion, because users tend to stay in the forum relevant to their vehicle(s).
Reduced range in winter (merged)
[ Moderator edit: Half a dozen posts have been merged into this one thread. Please use this thread if you feel that you really have something to add to this subject, after having read this thread. I suspect it's been fully covered many times over by now. ] MG ZS Ev estimated mileage on full...www.mgevs.com
Depends a lot how you drive and which driving mode / regen you have set.Mg4 long range total milage
We home charged the car to 100% and the total available milage is 220. Should this not be higher?
Is it possible to pin the post at the top and make the title 'bold'?
Yes I agree with those figures.I think the ionoiq is a particularly efficient EV, in part due to the small battery sizes that encouraged efficiency. Personally I see 4.5-4.8 in the summer at normal speeds, 3.2-3.8 in winter, about 3 when the temp is around 0 and its a short journey, so more energy spent heating the car.
* and turn battery heating off - that can eat a lotTo get more range, usual recommendations are:
- Use ECO mode with energy saving mode on.
- Ensure ECO mode is on the AC settings.
- Keep speeds down, eg 65mph or less on motorways.
- Avoid lots of short journeys.
- Gentle acceleration and braking to maintain momentum.
