Reach Adjustment (steering)

Does anyone know if it's possible to have an MG 5 steering rack fitted to a ZS? My partners 5 LR has reach adjustment but obviously the ZS doesn't have this for some mad reason. Wondered if it was feasible to have this done or if anyone has done it or used other alternatives like spacers behind the steering wheel although they mean the stalks don't extend forward with the wheel

Not sure messing with the control system of a car is a good idea. Warranty and insurance would be void I imagine.
