Rear Visibility

I've not seen this mentioned elsewhere.
When I did my test drive this afternoon, the only thing that stood out as a negative was the degree to which the rear headrests obstructed vision through the rear window.
Has anyone else found this or have I just not got my seat position right?

They are quite high as the rear is sat on the battery you could always remove them

I think that would be a pragmatic solution as I won't routinely be carrying rear passengers.

I noticed that in SWMBO's MG5, more so as the 5 has the centre headrest, whereas my ZS doesn't.

Yes I removed the middle headrest, otherwise you cant really see out. Other two are fine though

I've had previous cars where the centre headrest is a cut down version of the other two and actually sat flush with the seat top at its lowest position. That would have been nice here.

I thought the middle headrest was going to be a problem, but it turned out to not be an issue. I can still see more than enough to know what's going on behind me long before it gets a chance to become a surprise.

Is it not a safety concern if someones sat in either seat and you have a crash?

The Thailand version of the MG5 does not even have a rear seat center head rest. Safety is generally not a concern in Thailand...

Rear seat passengers will be a rare event so they can be reinstated if required.
It's no different to having a child seat but only fitting it when you carry a child.
