hi , just got a crashed trophy , I need to change the curtain airbag and srs module.
has anyone got a guide to taking the centre console out ?
I have saw posts on here , but nothing about how to take it out without taking full dash out.

also how to take the clips off the airbag that holds it onto the frame.

I also read that it will drive if the srs module is removed , the HV battery is ok as on dash it shows battery with 69% charge, and no warnings .

any help appreciated.

Basically, all the parts in the dash just use clips to fix them in place.

I saw a recent YouTube that showed how to get the head unit out.

The switch panel below the screen was held in place a clip on each side and the guy just pulled it from either side. The headunit was fixed with 2 screws along the bottom.

Buy yourself a set of plastic dash removal tools.

ive got plastic tools , after the head unit is out , its getting rest of console out .
is it all clips or are they any screws , sont want to pull and damage anything

Which part do you want out?
Things like glove box, headunit, dash are more than likely held in with screws.

The centre console/arm rest will probably be held in with screws into the floor.

Also in the YouTube he pulled the round air vent straight out leaving the strip running horizontally by just popping it out of its clips.

I've taken the head unit out , and it revealed 2 screws that hold on the leather trim that goes down to console, that's as far as I've gotten.

I can't see any screws on the console .

I want to prise up the dial gear selector and charge pad , maybe it will reveal something , also need to try to take the rear air vent cover off and maybe there's a bolt there .

I did see on the forum a few people have removed theirs.
