If you have bought a service plan from your dealer it can be worth rereading the agreement as I found out.
I had a low pressure warning on the front n/s tyre and decided to investigate and found a self-tapping screw had done what it does best and embedded itself into the tyre between the tread. I used a temporary repair screw to get me going as I didn't want to fill it with the gunk supplied with the car as some tyre places won't repair tyres if it's been used. I investigated about getting the tyre properly repaired.
The local ATS quoted £30ish for repair, new valve and balance. Then I checked the 3 year service plan I had overpaid for and it says free tyre repair, valve and balancing is included. One phone call and the car was booked in a couple of days later.
Here's a link to the repair screw kit I used.
