Reverse parking car rolling back when on drive mode

Yep, I think my reaction was to brake, confirm drive was selected and try again but with a little more confidence after double checking. Doing it somewhere you can be sure of no damage to reassure yourself on how it will behave is definitely best. ?

Hill hold does not work in Reverse Gear as above

I'm going to have to check that out, Hill start assist should work in D or in R, it did on my ZS.
I've not had a chance to use it in reverse yet in the 4.

Yes, but I was on drive mode, when car rolled back.

Are you sure you weren't in neutral ?
The driver's screen should show you.
