I have found what looks like rust on my 2022 model ZS EV on the bumper beam and in plate joints under the hood. I contacted the brand dealer and they offer me rust treatment with something called Mercasol. is a wax- and oil-based substance that protects against rust. Similar to tectyl. Has anyone had this repaired under warranty? Any experiences? A treatment with Mercasol usually takes several days. First, the car must be sandblasted, washed and dried. Before the substance is applied. Here they say that I will get the car back around lunchtime the same day.
