I think this the 'dead reckoning' problem

I knocked off the dead reckoning and then reset - long press on the home button. It works perfectly now.

I had same issue. Dealership hadn't a clue. However after much perseverance I found the issue. Go to sat nav, then settings, then map features. Turn off "dead reckoning". Then reset info system by pushing down and holding the physical home button not the one on the screen. Hold it till the MG emblem comes back on then release. Hey presto the sat nav will now work.

Brilliant. I've just done what you suggested so will test tomorrow. It's been a bit frustrating these last 4 days since collecting. Most appreciated!

Took my new ZSEV back to dealer to fix Satnav. Assured me it was working. wrong! I bet they never took it on a test run. Looks to work perfectly when stationary. Solution, book it in again!

No worries that's what the community is for.
Its a shame the dealers arent as pro active. Just need to figure out how to stop the radio from pausing and changing source everytime the phone gets a message now......

I’ve had the same problem. Got rid of the dead reckoning and pushed the Home button. Sat Nav working ok now.

Has anyone a MG ZA EV 2022 version. I can’t get the satnav to move when I move. It’s stationary all the time?

Have you check if you have an update available in settings. Factory reset is the other option but you loose all of your stored settings

Go into sat nav settings and turn off dead reckoning.
I had the same issue as you and turning off dead reckoning fixed it..... the sat Nav is pretty good imo, much better than what I had in a top spec Tuscon.

I suggested to my dealer that dead reckoning and lane keep assist be turned off when car first picked up. Not used LKA since finding the off button half way home.

I have problems with my sat nav as well. Also in morning brakes grind .and sometimes mirrors don't open.have to lock and unlock to open them .the display sometimes either freezes or u get 2 screens on top of each other at same time
