Collected car today👍❤️ Loved the drive home👍❤️
Only thing I’ve found is that he Sstnav screen is avowing maps in ‘nighttime’ screen during the daylight hours….havent figured out how to change this. I’ve gone into the settings for daytime screens and selected one of these but on returning to maps it is still a nighttime screen.🙈

I'm not sure if there's an individual night and day setting for the Sat Nav @Billy321, it may be controlled by the main screen dark/light background mode. Select the 'Settings' icon from the main menu screen, then under 'General', select the background mode you want, either Light, Dark, or Auto.

Thanks I’ll check the main screen settings in the morning. Auto is what I want👍
There’s 3 or 4 different screen types in both Night and Day settings on the sat nav settings. These are the only ones I’ve looked at.

I think the screen types in the Sat Nav settings are just for different colours/graphics.

Thanks for this MG Clive. 👍 On checking the main settings this morning the screen dark/light background mode was set to ‘Dark’. I’ve now set to auto.👍

I'm surprised how light all the other screens are when in dark mode, I think this is what threw me yesterday because all other screens seemed much lighter than the map screen.

I have been struggling with this too. It seems the 'Auto' bit works for day & night but the screens are either too dim in daylight sunshine or too bright at night. So I am tending to turn it up to full brightness in daylight and minimum when dark.
Has anybody found if these day & night extreme settings can be 'Auto' set for good?
