I must admit I usually use android and either Google maps or waze

There are other alternatives to Google maps and Waze, some of which are more effective:

 
Clever stuff some of you guys get up to, still haven't even got the mobile involved in the MG myself. This car is confusing enough without that thing as well!
Having, as I recall, clicking in - navigation/settings/about/version information - I find I have the Feb 2024 version too!
Now I see there is the possibility of 'navigation' updates which appear to require something on a stick/SD card. I wonder where will this will come from eventually?

To update the map on your MG3 Hybrid+, follow these steps:
  1. Visit the Naviextras website: Go to the MG Motor Naviextras page.
  1. Log in or create an account: You'll need to log in or create an account if you don't already have one.
  1. Select your vehicle model: Choose the MG3 Hybrid+ from the list of available models.
  1. Download the latest map update: Follow the instructions to download the latest map update for your region.
  1. Transfer the update to your car: Use a USB drive to transfer the downloaded map update to your car's infotainment system and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update.
Make sure to check the MG website or the Naviextras website for any specific instructions or additional steps.

It's mg3 2023 if you want it to connect..I have a 2024 mg3 hybrid and couldn't get it to connect until naviextras advised me..
