Hi I’ve just been quoted a price of £307 fur a second service on my MG4se 18,000 miles. Seems expensive !!!!

Very. I paid £399 for 3 services plus first MOT (when I bought the car).

That’s great I guess that was a plan. They’ve just offered this service and the next 3 for £800+

I pay £20 a month over 20 months, for two, services one minor one major. Plus two M.O.T s. . and two years AA brakedown...m.g. Dealer..

4th and 5th services are the expensive ones. Go onto the MG website and see how the price for a service plan on there compares.

It is - doesn't help but I paid £225 for Year 1 and Year 2. Just agreed contract for Years 3 and 4 to include MOT and 2 years AA support at £424. The quote from the dealer was £570 but I went direct to MG UK online and got a quote for the same period from the same dealer at £150 less. Suggest you give that a try.

2nd service should be around £200 if you are not on a plan. Check they aren't including other things that are not required for the service and shop around at other dealers.
