Seriously debating buying an MG3 hybrid

Apart from a well documented Emissions fault, and lousy after sales services applicable to MG UK; the only issue with the car is driving up steeper hills where due to the nature of the drive train the 3 speed auto box will change down to second making the engine rather noisy.

Hi Chris. I was more impressed than not. Overall it was a brilliant car. I had two problems with it. One, I couldn't get used to the lower car, after having a SUV type vehicle. But two the MG3 Hybrid had a mind of its own when it came to all the workings, meaning one day something would bong! and the next it wouldn't, another day the door wouldn't lock and the next, no problem. You set the radio on a channel and the next day it was on a completely different channel. They may have sorted these things out now, who knows, but when I saw the MG ZS Hybrid plus, I decided to chop in the MG3. I haven't looked back Chris.

The ZS has everything good about the MG3 Hybrid but with height, and to date (three months) I haven't had one out of place Bong!, any interrupting Bing!, and everything is just great. Some people have moaned about a few things, even with this vehicle, I have found very little wrong with it. Long may it last, she says nervously. 🙏 I hope that answers your question Chris.
